UVU’s Center for the Advancement of Leadership allows leadership training and experiences for the benefit of UVU students. The Annual Leadership Conference offers high school students and community members an invitation to hear local business leaders and UVU faculty speak on various leadership experiences. Since its inception in 1999, the CAL has attracted thousands of students each year who have an interest in developing their leadership potential.
The concept for last year’s conference was releasing the leader within. CAL usually uses animal metaphors to communicate the themes of the conferences.
